The Abandoned & Historic Cemeteries of Montague County Texas website is a project of the Montague County Cemetery
Preservation Corporation. The MCCPC consists of 7 board members and falls under the authority of the Montague County
Historical Commission. Regular meetings of the MCCPC are held on the 3rd Wednesday at 3:00 PM, once every two months, at the Old
Jail in Montague, Texas. The public is invited to attend; however, seating is limited.
The Montague County Cemetery Preservation Corporation receives no monies from the county. We rely soley on donations and an occasional fund raiser project to cover the
