Circa 1900: A husband and wife traveling through the area became ill, unfortunately died, and were buried in an area 1 mile south of US 82 and 300 yards west of Eureka School Road. Their graves were originally mark with a sandstone, but today there is no physical evidence to identity the location of either grave. The land is privately owned and not accessible to the public.
